In a rut

I feel as if this poor, old blog is in a rut.  Like it has become stagnant and boring.  It seems like all I do is post a few cute (or what I think is cute) stories and pictures of Marleigh and Kade, or my random thoughts.  Seems a little mundane, doesn't it?

The last thing I want is for this blog to become boring, or just me bragging nonstop about my kids.  While I do love them and am very proud of them, I realize every parent is the same about their children.  I don't want this blog to turn into my personal soapbox, either.  It seems that there are very few people that still read the blog.  Is it because I have already turned into the boring bragger on my soapbox?  I sure hope not.

Hmmm... what to do, what to do.  To blog or not to blog.....  Any thoughts?

  1. Sarah,
Oh my, a rut? stagnant and boring? mundane? Absolutely NOT! I LOVE hearing about your children and their cute actions and sayings. I've found as a Grandmother those things are so much more precious than what we realized as our children were growing up. As my co-worker says, "I love the world through children's eyes!" and it is so true. How much more we would all be blessed if we still saw through our "child-like eyes"! And also, you have such a wonderful gift of expressing yourself when you have doubts, worries or even your blessings. Remember, now you have a journal to go back and relish and relive all those moments and special memories. Keep up the good work!

  4. No way lady! I love reading your blog! You have much to celebrate & brag about, my friend, and there is nothing wrong with sharing it with the world. Even if you don't have a giant audience, at least you have this wonderful journal of your kids growing up, and you can't put a price on that. So many things from when the boys were little I wish I wrote down because I can't remember anymore! Blog away dear. :)

  6. Sarah,

You are absolutely not boring!! I love hearing the stories about little miss Marleigh and Kade. It is your given right to say wonderful things about your kids! Your thoughts tend to inspire me to think. Please don't stop blogging! How will I ever keep up with you Marc and the kids if you do?! I would have to rely on Aaron to keep me informed and well he is a boy and isn't so great at that. Blog away my dear, please?!!!!!

  9. Blog! I love hearing the perspective of other moms. I love hearing your ideas and your "deep thoughts". You've given me plenty to think about...and definitely frequent reminders to be thankful for the many blessings in my life.
