Brinley Lorraine Harris (& Marleigh update)

Marleigh is a big cousin again! Brinley Lorraine Harris was born at 5:02pm. Both Brinley & Megan are doing well! Congrats to Chewy & Megan! She was 8lbs 1oz & 20 inches long. We can't wait to meet her!

Marleigh's reflux has really been bothering her lately. We took her to the dr. again yesterday. She is now 10lbs 8oz & 23 inches long! She's growing at an insane rate!!! But I'm not complaining. She has a lot of catching up to do! They prescribed her some prevacid & we can already see improvements. She slept for 6 hours straight last night. A new record!

Another minor change... I'm now a stay at home mommy! :) Marc & I have thought about it since before the girls were born. I'm so looking forward to my time with Marleigh. She is so expressive & so much fun! I'm sure at some point I will go back to work, but am looking forward to my mommy time! Since I'm no longer working & my old cell number was a bank number, my new cell phone number is 285-1225.

  2. There is no better job than to be a stay-at-home mom. I am soooo happy for you!! Enjoy your time with Marleigh but don't forget that you need adult interaction too. Know that you, Marc,
Marleigh and Natalie are still in our prayers. Take care and we hope to see you soon!

  3. Congratulations! Speaking from experience, this will be a rewarding change for your whole family! You will be the one to see all her firsts, all her smiles will be yours, and you'll still catch yourself saying that she's growing up too fast! Enjoy this time together even if there are times you second guess this choice. It's a tough job, and you will face challenges, but know that you wouldn't be in this position unless God meant it to be your job. Remember to call on Him through all the challenging times - like less adult contact, being "at home", or when it seems Marleigh is giving all her dirty diapers and saving her fits just for you. But, also remember to praise Him for such an awesome opportunity to be there - to see her smiling face when she knows she's waking up from a nap and mommy will be the one to greet her, your cuddle time, and all the precious firsts you will witness firsthand! After all, He calls you to serve, and what better way than to show His love to your baby and family!

    Love,
    Mike, Jennifer,
    Wyatt, Morgan and Brinley

  4. Sarah--I am so glad that you get a be a stay at home mom! You and Marleigh will have so much fun! Sometime Myra will have to tell you the story of when my Mom attempted to go back to work after having my older sister. I think of you guys so often and I am glad to hear that Marleigh is doing so well and getting so big! Enjoy the rest of your summer.
    Take care.
