Shoes!

I might have mentioned it before, but our little girl is a total girlie girl. Loves clothes, shoes, jewelry, make-up, etc. She "oooohs" and "ahhhhs" at anything that is pink or sparkles.

Last week, my feet were begging me for some new shoes for work. All I have ever worn to work are heels. Even when I was pregnant with the girls, I wore them, and never had a problem. For some reason, it is NOT working out so well with this pregnancy. I have calluses and sore feet! :(

I picked Marleigh up from Jenni's one afternoon and asked her if she wanted to go shopping. Marleigh said, "Hooray!!!" I took that as a yes!

We walked into Payless and Marleigh's eyes got as big as saucers. "SHOES!!!" Who would have thought that shoes would excite a 2 year old so much?!? I was holding her when we walked in and she couldn't get down fast enough!

I was looking at shoes and Marleigh would walk over and grab some and say, "How about these?" I'd tell her "I don't think so." She'd put them back and say to herself, "Don't think so." Then she'd grab another pair and we'd repeat the exact same dialogue. I found sound cute, cheap, black ballet slipper type shoes with a little bit of sparkle on them. I asked Marleigh, "How about these?" She came running over, "CUTE!!!"

I really wish I would have been video taping her. She loved shopping for shoes with Mama. I'm not really much for clothes or shopping, so all her aunts better be ready for a little shopping diva!
