Sunday we headed to Hutchinson for a cook out at Aunt Shannon & Uncle Kyle's. It was a beautiful day & we had so much fun. We're starting to feel like real people again! I was commenting that I was out in public two days in a row!
This afternoon, we took Marleigh out to see her sister. There were so many beautiful flowers around Natalie's grave. We were telling Marleigh about Natalie, & Marleigh started smiling. For some reason, it gave me a sense of peace. I know that Natalie is with Marleigh always as her guardian angel. Rest in peace my sweet, little baby.

ReplyDeleteI love to watch Marleigh grow. I think of you all often. My daughter also lives in Hutch. Sometime it would be fun to see you all. My thoughts were with you both and Natalie on Memorial Day.

Ah, so you went to the Wildcat wedding (purple vests for the guys, purple dresses for the gals). I was in the standing room only area, wearing white, and wondering why the microphones were making so much racket - even when standing completely still.
ReplyDeleteJenni said you had been out, and she was so happy to get to hold Marleigh on Memorial Day. I was asked to speak at the Garfield Cemetery service - it was truly a beautiful day.
So glad things are getting more normal for you, but also glad your priorities have always been in the right place.
